Dr. Anand Shah is vascular and endovascular surgeon who specializes in advanced endovascular and open vascular surgery. Dr. Shah joined HCA Houston Healthcare and helped found Gulf Coast Vascular in August of 2020. Dr. Shah is an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Houston Medical School. Dr. Shah's approach to patient care attempts to be as personal as possible. After being on the patient/family side of many medical discussions during his mother’s 20 year battle with cancer, he understands the value of face-to-face communication directly with the doctor. Although an advanced-trained practitioner or resident may be involved with a portion of your care, Dr. Shah will always be the one who sees you in clinic, after surgery, on rounds, and well afterwards.
